A Classic

There is nothing like a good book!

I'm currently reading Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll (definite classics!). I couldn't count the number of times I've watched Disney's Alice in Wonderland but can't remember ever actually reading the book! Then one day I was looking for something to read on the many bookshelves in my house, full of everything from childhood books to Encyclopedias, I came across Alice.

What a gem to come across! The illustrations in this book are incredible and so funny! They give the book so much life and character.

And damn, this book is old! Faded book sleeve, tattered and sun-stained pages and some lovely scribblings of a young Jennie! But some how all this adds to the appeal of the book, it's been well loved. (Not to mention, I love the smell of an old book! ...no judgement haha)
